Dear Parents/Athletes,
Welcome to Learn to Dive.
We are confident that your child will have the time of their life as they “Learn to Dive”.
Diving is a sport that beginners move at their own pace through skill progression.
Here you will find that even the smallest progress gets celebrated as a "monumental achievement".
As the young athlete’s confidences beings to grow so does the level in which she will begin to challenge herself. With time, She/he will have her own practice plan, her own goals, and her own dives they’d like to accomplish at each lesson.
In the early stage, it is our responsibility to teach & show that safety is #1. The way to stay safe is learning proper skill progression before attempting a dive.
Proper balance, good posture and body-alignment are most important to ‘ALL’ divers at ‘ALL’ skill levels. Their “approach”, “Hurdle” and “take-off" from the diving board, and their "in-flight" and “entries" into the water are learned by skill progression, repetitions and constant constructive words of encouragement by their coach.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns please call me as soon as you think of them.
Diving doesn't have to be the #1 sport in their young life BUT the time they spend here needs to be "positive, and productive filled with many life lessons."
